Base is Exeter, which puts most of Devon inside an hour and a good part of Cornwall and Somerset inside two. Getting there quickly is part of the same-day aim, not an extra to negotiate afterwards.

Each one covers the ground you actually meet in that area, what daylight and weather do to a search there, and the kind of call this site typically gets from that ground.
